This vintage Aynsley English fine bone china tea set is the Marguerite pattern, and the back stamp dates it to 1925-1934. The registration number speaks of the embossed (raised) pattern in the china. The floral paper daisy pattern, marguerite, is hand painted. The base colour of the plates, saucers and cups is a light dusty pink, that spreads to a light teal and then to gold trim. The cups have gold handles also. In this set you get 7 teacups, 8 saucers and 9 cake plates. There is some wear on a few pieces, and 1 saucer, 1 cake plate and 1 teacup have a light crack. The gilt on the teacup handles show vintage wear. Very reminiscent of Limoges. A stunning collection for any fan of aynsley china.
